SPACE HIRE
Located at 130 Lygon St, Brunswick East, OTHER GOODS & SERVICES sits in a prime location which boasts foot traffic, as well as ease of access to public transport and parking.
We cannot accommodate full-scale popups (i.e., ones where the shop is an empty box and you fill it with your goodies from head to toe). Instead, we focus on mini popups (where you can lay out/display your pieces, rearranging our current store stock to best highlight your works), workshops, and private events.
Operating hours can be between 10am - 10pm on weekends. Prices are inclusive of 2hrs of bump-in prior to your event starting and 1hr of bump-out the day after.
We are a community-focused space, but we also need to keep our business up and running! If the following prices seem unmanageable, please reach out, and we can discuss other options that will benefit both yourself and OTHER GOODS.
MINI POPUP HIRE OPTIONS:
One Day Hire (Saturday or Sunday): $450
Entire Weekend Hire: $800
Friday Evening + Saturday Hire: $700 (bump-in occurs Friday, 2hrs prior to event start)
Entire Weekend + Friday Evening Hire: $1000 (bump-in occurs Friday, prior to event start)

WORKSHOPS AND PRIVATE EVENTS
Do you dream of hosting your own workshop or event? OTHER GOODS is available after hours (defined as 5pm - 10pm Monday-Thursday and 10am-10pm Sundays) at a rate of $50/hr (minimum 3 hours OR $450 full day rate - Sundays only) for you to facilitate your workshop.
We are a carpeted venue with many beautiful things around. Any workshop must be able to work within the limits of:
No open flames
No cooking (sadly)
Keeping stuff safe!
Please make a booking to meet with Monikha HERE to discuss your workshop or event idea. You must visit the venue in person prior to booking approval.
As with any space, there are limitations. Fixtures like the mirrored plinth and the steel shelves cannot be moved for your event; however, the items on them can be rearranged with Monikha’s assistance. OTHER GOODS is not equipped with a liquor license.
Open and honest communication is paramount to good working relationships. Please let Monikha know if you are having any issues or changes in the lead-up to your event. This includes any information about artists or creators you plan on collaborating with. Monikha (or a representative) will be there to assist in bump-in, bump-out, and throughout your pop-up.

OTHER GOODS is excited to see your idea come to life!
A 20% non-refundable deposit is required when making your booking to secure your date. Cancellation with less than 72 hours before bump-in time will result in a charge of 50% of the remaining hire fee (excluding 20% deposit). Cancellation of the event within 24 hours of bump-in will result in a charge of 100% of the remaining hire fee (excluding 20% deposit).
ACCESSIBILITY INFO: OTHER GOODS & SERVICES is not wheelchair accessible. The front entrance has two (2) steps to the door. The first is 14cm high and 80cm deep, the second step is 17cm. The door is 83cm wide. There are two steps leading into the back door. The first step is 10cm tall. The second step is 20cm tall. The door to the bathroom is 80cm wide and while there is an accessible toilet, the path to the toilet is very narrow and would not comfortably accomodate mobility devices.
